Today on International Women’s Day we honour the strength, love and wisdom of all the deadly women in our lives. We thank all our matriarchs, mothers, grandmothers, aunties, sisters and Sistergirls, past, present and emerging. Our communities have been built by strong powerful Black women. The unique and powerful role women play in our lives and the lives of all in our communities, can never be underestimated. Your legacies drive us in all our work and because of you, we will continue to fight on our journey towards positive social change.
