We are excited to announce our 2026 Koorie Youth Summit artist, Milla Morgan!
Selected by our Working Group members, Milla will be working alongside our members to create this years’ Summit logo.
Milla is a proud Italian, Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta artist who is committed to reframing how First Nations creators are perceived. She aims to encourage other First Nations artists to create freely, without the burden or stereotypes of what artists are “supposed” to produce.
Her work is shaped by activism and after seeing the power art has to spark conversations, it made her realise the importance of taking up space, especially in spaces where First Nations’ voices may not be heard. She is inspired by connections that have the ability to build upon each other, to create futures by collaborating and uplifting each other.
