2014 Koorie Youth Summit
The 2014 Koorie Youth Summit was the first ever Summit, held on 8 and 9 May 2014 at Rydges Bell City, Preston. The Summit was a two day event bringing together over 120 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people from across Victoria.
Our vision for the Summit was to create a unique event for young people to gather from across the state and to create a culturally safe space, where young people can gather and discuss issues that are important to them.
The Summit also hosted the Ricci Marks Award Gala Dinner for the first time, where over 250 guests joined in celebrating the achievements of 31 nominees, and two Award recipients.
